Clinic Testimonials From Community Members

Marney Makridakis, community member shares...

For the past two years, I've been receiving treatments from the clinic for both acute and chronic conditions.  I've been delighted with the results that have been achieved, and I've learned time and time again that acupuncture can provide healing even when traditional Western medicine cannot.  In addition to acupuncture, I've experienced a variety of other healing modalities, as well.

Each practitioner I've seen has been extremely capable, thoughtful, knowledgeable, compassionate and skillful.  The guiding presence of the faculty supervisors is reassuring, yet completely unobtrusive. It's obvious that the students at TCMCH are being trained to treat the whole person, rather than just symptoms, and Waimea is extremely lucky to have this wonderful resource.

The Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii is a jewel of an acupuncture clinic. The students and their teachers are sensitive to the needs of the their patients, and devoted to their practice. The excellent prices make acupuncture accessible to anyone. We've had excellent healing results.

Diane Jones, community member shares...

Excellent results have been achieved from the treatments I have received at the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii. Due to an injury, I was experiencing a great deal of pain in my left knee and leg.

On a scale of from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, my pain level was an 8.

My first acupuncture treatment was on June 5, 2009. So far, I have had 11 treatments and my pain level is now at a 2. In addition to acupuncture, I have also received Reiki and Qi Chong treatments. The students, supervisors, and staff are very knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, and truly amazing.

I can highly recommend this College to anyone who needs healing and pain relief.
